When you are trying to lose weight it is important to understand that certain carbs are good carbs and certain carbs are bad carbs.
Simple carbs (bad carbs) are your starchy carbs like potatoes, rice, pasta and white breads (high in sugars).
Added sugars are also bad carbs, such as corn syrups etc.
These carbohydrates are best to have in moderation as they add up very quickly.
These carbs are not used as readily by your body and therefore stored more easily as fat.
Complex carbs are much better for you and are found in green leafy vegetables, fruits (consume lower glycemic fruits).
These carbs donโt add up as quickly but will make you feel full.
