Regardless of your goals, the end result you are looking for is success. The best way to ensure your success is to set goals and then track them as you progress through your program. The best way to track your progress is to do some initial tests to gain a baseline. Whether it be a strength, weight loss, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility or injury rehabilitation goal the process of testing your baseline is essential to gauge your success. 

Remember that your only competition is yourself and to keep that in mind as you go through this fitness journey, because you will have obstacles that knock you down. That is when you look in the mirror and say that you can do it and you will be successful.

Here are some ways to track your success:

💪Get a heart rate monitor.

💪 Get your body fat measurements done (dexa scan is the most accurate way).

💪 Do strength tests such as max push-ups, max full sit-ups etc.

💪 Test your vo2 max with an Astrand bike test.

💪 Measure your sit and reach for flexibility.
